VOW Education was the launching pad for the Desert Feet Tour which has more recently become a single entity.
Desert Feet Tour
The Desert Feet Tour is a program aimed at bringing music concerts and workshops into remote indigenous communities.
We believe that our greatest resource is our cultural inheritance; Reconciliation starts with acknowledging the past, right or wrong, good or bad without blame or guilt. We wish to create positive media that portrays remote communities and Indigenous Australians as a cultural asset and exposes the beauty of the desert and its people in an honest light.
We believe there is a need for more Indigenous and non Indigenous co-operative programs like the Desert Feet Tour. The organisers have received very strong support in this belief, which is eveidenced by an overwhelming response from the communities and from other Indigenous musicians wanting to join the tour.

Letter of Support from Yandeyarra Community
To whom it may concern,
I would like to thank BHP for providing the opportunity for Desert Feet to visit Yandeyarra.
In my 3 years here Desert Feet has been by far and away the best event we have had in the community.
All up I think we ended up with about 150 people who all had a ball.
We are hopeful that we can be included in next year's tour and request a 2 day visit to maximise the community participation.
The band equipment has been well received and now I am trying to establish some of getting a musician / music teacher out her once per fortnight to work with selected kids who have been identified as having an interest and ability. Ideally these kids would be at the point where they could perform at a high level next year. Graham Boyd
